Text Substitution

Text substitution is a very useful feature when you need to scan a web site that does not present links or email addresses in a clear way.

Using this feature you can change the content of a web site before Email Grabber scans it.

This allows you to change the content of the web site dynamically in order to fix possible obstacles to the search.

Example:

If a web site displays email addresses as:

email(at)domain(dot)com

you could use text substitution rules to replace (at) with @ and (dot) with .

This would make Email Grabber "fix" the page before scanning resulting in a correct extraction of the email address.
